19th Century Pair Of Sitzendorfer Hand Painted Mythological Ewer Porcelain Vases,Circa 1884

A unique pair of antique Sitzendorfer German hand painted porcelain ewer vases with a mythological theme which features Pan handles,the Greek god of woods and fields, mermaid bases, hippocamp, dolphins, putti and foliages. Colouration: Lovely hand painted in different colors of green, blue, cream, yellow and gold are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks of the Sitzendorf mark which has a double line crossed with a single slash, this mark was used from 1884 and is the oldest mark used by the company. Sitzendorfer Porzellanmanufaktur Wilhelm Liebmann was established in 1850. Sitzendorf of Thuringia is a splendid 150 year old company, having survived being burned to the ground in the 19th Century, dodged the bombs of WW2 and the avoided the suffocation of the authoritarian Soviet regime. Porcelain making in the town of Sitzendorf goes back to 1760.
Condition : Good over all condition. Minimal damage, wear, with a restoration on one vase which does not detract from the piece (please see images).

Postage & Delivery Information:
I send all my parcels using Royal Mail except for some delicate and large items such as paintings that needs special shipment. I usually try to send parcels within 1-2 working days of payment. If you would like to add insurance to a parcel then please contact me before payment and I can provide an additional postage service. I properly secure all of my parcels prior to sending them especially fragile items. I use box and use packaging bubble wraps and papers to ensure the items get to you safely.

How Is My Order Shipped?
All UK orders are shipped through Royal Mail whereas orders for International shipping will be dependent on the item ordered (e.g. paintings, art prints) as these items require specialised courier to ship them. International orders will either be tracked or regular shipping.
Do You Offer Local Pick-up/Delivery?
Local collection is available for buyers provided this is arranged in advance and only for delicate or large items. Please contact me prior to purchase to discuss shipping options. If we both agree to pick-up, I can remove the shipping charges on the listing and reserve the item for you.
Do You Have Free Shipping?
Free shipping is available for small items within the United Kingdom. Large and fragile items such as paintings have corresponding charges.
